As our nation moves to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we need to make sure our most vulnerable friends and neighbors have access to the affordable, life-sustaining food they need right now. House Democrats have already helped expand and increase funding for our nation's food assistance programs, but there's still more work to be done:

-- We must temporarily waive any eligibility requirements for all food assistance programs to cope with drastically increased demand.

-- We need additional federal funding to ensure every state has the resources it needs to keep everyone fed.

-- We need more flexibility with where and how this food can be distributed to ensure timeliness and the safety of both recipients and providers.

-- Every state -- including Pennsylvania -- must ensure that participants in these emergency food programs are able to utilize grocery delivery services to receive these benefits.

Hunger won't wait for bureaucracy to catch up -- we must act NOW to keep America fed in this time of unprecedented crisis. Join Dwight in demanding Congress take immediate action to ensure every citizen has access to the nutritious food they need:
