'Don't Regret the Bet' responsible gaming messaging campaign earns top honors with PRNEWS Digital Award for Facebook presence

DETROIT, May 9, 2024 ? Spotlighting the most innovative and industry-altering digital communicators and campaigns, PRNEWS has recognized the Michigan Gaming Control Board?s?Don?t Regret the Bet?integrated marketing campaign?as their first-place winner in the Facebook Platform Presence category.

Entries are submitted from digital and social media campaigns spanning all areas of public relations, communications, and marketing, including branding, influencer marketing, media relations, crisis communications, and more.

Launched in March 2023,?Don?t Regret the Bet?aims to prevent gambling problems before they start and reduce the number of people in Michigan who develop a serious gambling addiction. The campaign was named First Place/Winner in the Facebook category of the PRNEWS Digital Awards competition, bringing home the gold with King Media for their collaboration on highly visible social media ads that are focused on a simple message ? Don?t Regret the Bet.

Previous?Don?t Regret the Bet?awards include platinum-level honors bestowed by AVA Digital Awards, MarCom Awards, dotCOMM Awards, and Viddy Awards. In addition to these accolades, the campaign was?most recently named a Shorty Awards finalist in the Social Good Campaign category of that competition, with winners to be announced later this month.
