We hate to reach out with bad news, but this is serious: an extreme, near-total abortion ban went into effect in Florida early last week.

Thanks to Donald Trump's efforts to overturn Roe v. Wade , there are no longer protections in place for states like Florida. Extreme bans are now the law of the land.

Make no mistake, team – Republicans have created a healthcare crisis for women across the country. This is the most egregious infringement of reproductive rights in over 50 years.

Here in Arizona, we're fighting for our own initiative on the ballot in November. It's clear that Arizona voters are the last line of defense when it comes to protecting abortion access, which is why we're joining the Florida Democrats in solidarity in our efforts to keep government interference OUT of private medical decisions. This isn't just a Florida issue; it's a freedom issue.

We need to do everything we can to fight back against extreme abortion bans. With 1 in 3 American women of reproductive age now living under an abortion ban, they're at risk of being:

🏥 Turned away from emergency rooms and life-saving medical treatment.
⚖️ Forced to go to court to seek permission for necessary medical attention.
🚙 Required to travel hundreds of miles to receive health care, if they make it that far.
