This is one of the photos I've saved from my time in Iraq with Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 25th Marines. As you can see, I've been fighting for our country since I was a young man.
By the time our deployment was over we had more Marine casualties than any unit in the Iraq War.
Many of those guys grew up a lot like me. Some were from working class families, some were first or second generation, some were from tribal communities. Most were dirt poor. All Americans.
Given all I have seen, and all the sacrifices for our democracy some of my best friends made, you know I am not letting an insurrection-supporting, rights-regressing, MAGA-right, Trump-supporting election-denier get elected to the Senate this November.
