** In just 5 days: Bark, sniff, and lick your way through the apocalypse to save the humans you love!

**
------------------------------------------------------------

We are so excited that in just five days - next Tuesday on May 14th - we get to bring the beloved Good Dog, Bad Zombie back into the world via Kickstarter ([link removed]) ! Good Dog, Bad Zombie is a cooperative, tower defense, and pick up-and-deliver game for 1 to 4 players. Each player chooses one of twelve playable dogs, such as Captain Woofster, Bandit, Angelica, or Gizmo – each with a unique power like Snuggle, Protect, Play, and Make Trouble.

Your job as a pack is to protect the center of the board while finding humans in hiding. You must create paths through the swarms of zombies and herd those people back to Central Bark.

On May 14th, you’ll get your chance to join the pack ([link removed]) !

** Meet Marshmallow!
------------------------------------------------------------

Marshmallow is one of the new dogs available for the first time in this second edition of Good Dog, Bad Zombie. We’re thrilled to bring dogs with new unique powers to the world of GDBZ. Marshmallow is a small dog that has a big impact. Her power is Yip and Yap - allowing her to move to any other dog, zombie, or human and then bark. The effect of barking allows you to move any other figure in your current location one space. This can help you do things like chase zombies away or get humans home to Central Bark. (You need to get six humans there in order to win!)

Marshmallow is just one of four new dogs that will be joining the eight dogs from the first edition (for a total of twelve playable dogs!).

** What Humans are Saying
------------------------------------------------------------

We might be kind of biased–we love dogs and we love board games, so of course we love Good Dog, Bad Zombie. And truly, the reason we are bringing it back for a second edition is because of how much other people have told us they love it and want us to bring it back. But, don’t just take our word for it. Here’s what some very nice humans have said about the game!

** Pretend Apocalypse, Real World Impact
------------------------------------------------------------

For GDBZ’s first Kickstarter campaign back in 2018, we teamed up with the wonderful humans at One Tail at a Time ([link removed]) , a pet and rescue shelter near our home base, to benefit real-life dogs. We are thrilled that we are getting the chance to do this once again!

Backing Good Dog, Bad Zombie at certain levels will allow us to contribute to a gift basket of goodies that we will hand deliver (paw deliver?) to OTAT’s home base, bringing needed treats and supplies to dogs searching for their forever homes. So by contributing to this campaign - you’re getting an awesome game and helping real world dogs.

Pics of some of the items GDBZ was able to purchase for OTAT during our last campaign - thanks to backers like you!

** Save the Day (As a Human)
------------------------------------------------------------

How can you help defeat the zombies as a human? Well, one of the cool things about Kickstarter is even if you pledge to the campaign on the first day, you don’t get charged until the campaign ends. And by pledging on day one, you really help us build momentum in the crucial first days of Kickstarter. So if you’re excited about Good Dog, Bad Zombie - feel free to click “Notify me on launch” ([link removed]) to be the first to know when the campaign goes live. We hope you’ll consider pledging on day one. Woof!

See you next Tuesday,

Lydia, Andrew, and Brian
