Instructor Spotlight |
| Jeremiah DaytoPhilippines Emergency Preparedness Information Center(EPIC)/Managing Director Being part of numerous organization that champions in Preparedness, Safety, First Aid and Emergency Response and Rescue, I believe learning what to do in a severe bleeding scenario is paramount in saving one's life in a traumatic injury. This is one of the subject i have been giving a focus to all my students in my First Aid class. I have been a volunteer in Philippine Red Cross for a decade now, teaching First aid as well as Disaster Management. I am also a certified Emergency Medical Technician and a Safety Officer, advocating Occupational Safety and Health Management. I created my company (EPIC) to help reach out and hold trainings about first aid (with emphasis on bleeding management and CPR) to numerous organizations, companies, grass-root communities, law enforcers and even to foreign embassies here in our country. I am always proud of being a STOP THE BLEED® instructor and I have been sharing the knowledge since 2018. |

My experience in the field has shown me the direct impact that rapid control of bleeding I want to bring this awareness to the community by organizing workshops and advocating for the availability of bleeding control kits in public places. By combining my theoretical knowledge as an instructor with my practical experience as a first responder and rescuer, I seek to not only educate, but also inspire others to join the cause and create a culture of preparedness in our community.
