Biden Withholds Military Aid to Israel Amid Rafah Invasion

Fox News: President Biden is vowing to withhold weapons from Israel if the Jewish State goes forward with its invasion of Rafah, Hamas’ last stronghold in Gaza. “Civilians have been killed in Gaza as a consequence of those bombs and other ways in which they go after population centers,” Biden told CNN’s Erin Burnett (Fox News). Rep. Elise Stefanik: Joe Biden is withholding aid from Israel, giving Iran and its proxies the green light to escalate attacks against our ally. He has also held back munitions that would more directly target Hamas while limiting collateral damage. The Biden Administration and Joe Biden himself have failed to support Israel. They’re more concerned about their pro-Hamas wing of the Democrat Party (X). CNN: The president has come under extraordinary pressure, including from members of his own party, to limit shipments of arms amid a humanitarian crisis in Gaza (CNN).

IDF Eliminates Hamas Commander in Air Strike
Jerusalem Post: An Israel Air Force aircraft eliminated the Commander of Hamas’s Naval unit, Ahmed Ali, in a joint IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) operation in Gaza City in the past day. Over the past week, Ahmed contributed to terrorist activities against IDF troops operating in central Gaza (Jerusalem Post). Republicans Draft Letter to Sanction International Criminal Court if They Issue Arrest Warrants for Israeli Officials
Axios: House Republicans are preparing legislation to sanction International Criminal Court officials as a “precaution” against potential arrest warrants of Israeli officials. Pro-Israel members of Congress in both parties have warned repeatedly that the ICC risks consequences from the U.S. if it moves forward with the warrants. House Foreign Affairs Committee Chair Michael McCaul (R-Texas) confirmed the legislation is in the works (Axios). Daily Wire: Cotton and 10 other GOP senators sent a letter to the ICC warning them that if they issued international arrest warrants against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli officials, “We will move to end all American support for the ICC, sanction your employees and associates, and bar you and your families from the United States.” The letter noted, “Issuing arrest warrants for the leaders of Israel would not only be unjustified, it would expose your organization’s hypocrisy and double standards. Your office has not issued arrest warrants for Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei or any other Iranian official, Syrian President Bashar al Assad or any other Syrian official, or Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh or any other Hamas official. Nor have you issued an arrest warrant for the genocidal General Secretary of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, or any other Chinese official” (Daily Wire).

Georgia Appeals Court to Determine if DA Fani Willis May Remain on Trump’s Trial
Daily Wire: A Georgia appellate court agreed on Wednesday to hear a challenge to the ruling that allowed Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to continue leading a 2020 election interference case against former President Donald Trump and his allies despite her romance with a subordinate. The Court of Appeals of the State of Georgia released a brief order that said the request from the defense seeking a review of a lower-court decision in March had been granted and noted the appellant may file a notice of appeal within 10 days (Daily Wire). Reporter Phil Holloway: Next comes briefing by the parties, to be followed by oral argument sometime this summer. It will be heard by a 3 judge panel so 2 votes will be needed to reverse the trial court. Whatever the Court of Appeals rules can be appealed by the losing party. The Fulton Case is effective dead in the water for a while (X).

Bernie Sanders (I-VT) Opposes Resolution Denouncing Antisemitism on Campuses Nationwide
National Review: Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) blocked a resolution condemning antisemitism on college and university campuses in the United States. The resolution, introduced by Senator Tim Scott (R., S.C.), would condemn “the rise of antisemitism on campuses of institutions of higher education across the United States” and “administrators of institutions of higher education who have enabled ongoing antisemitism on their campuses.” It also would urge the U.S. Department of Education to ensure those institutions of higher education have complied with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Title VI holds that entities on the receiving end of federal funding must not allow discrimination, exclusion, or denial of benefits on the basis of race, color, or national origin (National Review). Sen .Tim Scott: Bernie Sanders just blocked my commonsense resolution to condemn antisemitism on college campuses. Antisemitism is not just wrong, it’s not just evil, it’s despicable. We must step up for our Jewish students (X).

Illegal Immigrants in Denver Give Mayor List of Demands
HotAir: After struggling for more than a year to shelter and feed the army of illegal migrants that have flooded into the city, Denver finally began imposing some limits on how long people could stay in the municipal intake shelters. This angered some of the migrants who were forced to leave the shelters and a group of them set up an encampment on public property as the spring weather began to improve. The encampment is located under an overpass near the railroad tracks. The Mayor’s office repeatedly requested that the migrants evacuate the encampment and move to other shelters that were set up to house them. But the migrants refused, and now they have sent an advocate with a list of demands that they say must be met before they will agree to relocate to a shelter (HotAir). KDVR: In all, the migrants presented 13 demands to the city of Denver (KDVR).

Lawmakers voted 359-43 to table the motion, effectively killing the measure before it could be brought to the floor for a final vote. “Squad” Members Upset After Students Arrested at Campus Protest
Townhall: Members of “the squad,” the wing of the Democratic party controlling President Joe Biden’s foreign policy on Hamas, held a press conference Wednesday afternoon to express their support for violent encampments on college campuses. The remarks came just hours after police moved in on George Washington University and dismantled the pro-Hamas encampment established two weeks ago, which prompted a meltdown from Democratic Congresswomen Rashida Tlaib and Cori Bush. The Council on Islamic Relations, which openly supports and justifies the October 7 terrorist attacks, is also upset the police broke down the pro-Hamas encampment (Townhall). Panama’s New President Promises to Close Passage for Migrants, Wants to Work With U.S. to Solve Immigration Crisis
Townhall: Panama’s newly elected president, José Raúl Mulino, vowed to close a major passageway for migrants heading toward the U.S. border. “I will make the effort to end this migratory crisis in our territory with respect for human rights and with sincere international participation,” Mulino said. “The border of the United States, instead of being in Texas, moved to Panama,” said Mulino, the former public security minister who was elected on Sunday. “We’re going to close the Darien and we’re going to repatriate all these people” (Townhall). Newsweek: Last year alone, over half a million people, among them 113,000 children, braved the hazardous crossing— a significant rise from 24,000 in 2019. Mulino’s strategy focuses on repatriating migrants and enhancing collaboration with the U.S. and Colombia to address the migration crisis comprehensively. During a recent rally, he even mentioned seeking support from former U.S. President Donald Trump to “add some cement” for the wall, should Trump return to the White House next year (Newsweek).

Video Emerges of Students at Emory College Training to Protest
Outkick: An absolutely incredible video has hit the web of Emory students training for protests. Emory University is just one of many different campuses in America that has been hit by anti-America/anti-Israel protests over the past few weeks. Police moved in and made arrests at the end of April. The situation at Emory is so bad that commencement has been moved off campus. Well, it turns out some of the students sought out training like they were a paramilitary organization (Outkick). Libs of TikTok: Drone footage captured at Emory College shows students being trained and practicing for violent protests with the police. Biden’s top donors including Soros are the ones behind this protest movement on college campuses. This is well organized and funded (X).
