So much of politics today is about what’s going wrong and playing into people’s fears.
There’s no doubt that a second Trump Administration and Republicans’ extreme agenda are a real threat. But it’s important that we also talk about what’s possible — a positive vision for progressive change.
Chris Murphy has spent the past four years fighting to deliver meaningful progress — to prove that change is possible. After years of failed negotiations, we delivered on big issues like the gun safety bill, infrastructure and climate action.
But it doesn’t stop there. Chris is an optimist. He does this work because he fundamentally believes that our government can be a force for good in people’s lives and help us build a better future. He knows there is more we can and must do.
That’s why Chris is at the forefront of our efforts to hold the Senate. He won’t hesitate to end the filibuster to codify abortion rights nationwide, raise the minimum wage, pass universal background checks, defend democracy and more.
