Dear John

The lockdown may be getting a little monotonous and boring as time goes on,
therefore Animal Aid have put together a list of boredom busters to see you
through this unprecedented time.

-----------------------------
WATCH SOME VEGAN MOVIES AND DOCUMENTARIES!
There are many documentaries and movies available that feature a vegan or animal
rights theme, so why not take this time to relax and watch some of them? You can
watch something inspiring, like the Fiona Oakes documentary Running For Good
([link removed]) or perhaps something informative
like The Game Changers ([link removed]).

-----------------------------
CUDDLE YOUR FLUFFY COMPANIONS
There is no evidence that companion animals, such as dogs and cats, can spread
COVID-19. And nothing beats spending time with our furry friends. So spend some
time with them; play with them, give them a cuddle and just show them some love.

-----------------------------
TAKE ONLINE ACTIONS FOR ANIMALS!
Animal Aid has a number of online actions that you can take for animals; signing
petitions is a great way of showing your support for campaigns and to take
actions for animals whilst at home:

* Petition: Urge Kellogg's to switch a vegan vitamin D in all cereals:

* Download and use our Stop Warfare Experiments email signature blocks:

* Sign the petition to stop pregnant mares from being forced to race:

-----------------------------
JOIN A NEIGHBOURHOOD-HELP GROUP
If you are not in a high-risk category and are able to, why not join a
neighbourhood group in your area to help elderly and vulnerable people who
aren’t able to leave their houses at all? In these troubling times, working
together is paramount. This website lists mutual aid groups
([link removed]), but there will be others. Do an online
search or ask your neighbours; if your area isn’t covered, or you could start
your own!

-----------------------------
EXPERIMENT IN THE KITCHEN
We've put together a list of vegan staples, which will help you make delicious,
nutritious and easy vegan meals in these uncertain times:

We also have a huge amount of vegan recipes on our Vegan Recipes section:

TAKE OUR BOREDOM BUSTER QUIZ!
Did you know that snails can sleep for three years? Or that cats can jump up to
seven times their height?

Take the Animal Aid Boredom Buster quiz and test your knowledge of all things
animals: [link removed]

-----------------------------
There are many more things that you can do to help animals, other people and
yourself at this difficult time. Check out our Boredom Busters page for more
ideas on how you can pass the time: [link removed]
