I can’t believe I’m saying this, friend, but Marjorie Taylor Greene told me to ”shut the f*** up”.

I’m past the point of being surprised by Marjorie Taylor Greene’s lack of decorum, but this might be a new low — even for her .

During a House Oversight Committee hearing, Chairman Comer was yammering on about Republicans’ sham impeachment inquiry against President Biden. When I interjected, Marjorie Taylor Greene loudly told me to “shut up,” then moments later mouthed to me, “shut the f*** up.”

This is where today’s Republican Party stands. Majorie Taylor Greene’s behavior is not only normalized within the Republican Party but is often even applauded . It’s deeply concerning that Republicans can’t engage in political discourse without resorting to childish behavior.

I’ve been vocal about House Republicans’ blatant abuse of power in pursuing a baseless impeachment against the president, and Republicans like Marjorie Taylor Greene don’t appreciate me calling out their investigation for what it is: a baseless sham investigation that was infiltrated by spies from both Russia and China.

We can expect the MAGA attacks to keep coming my way, but I can guarantee one thing for certain: I won’t shut up. And I won’t stop standing up for the truth and the rule of law as Republicans sow chaos and division to chip away at our democratic institutions.
