Herbert,
Government can be an engine of progress, helping residents in every ZIP code reach their full potential.
Hard-working families across MD-02 are struggling to afford their rent and mortgage payments due to decades of racially motivated redlining practices that separated our neighborhoods and financial barriers that push housing prices just out of reach for too many Americans.
As Baltimore County Executive, we passed the HOME Act to end housing discrimination based on source of income and established the County’s first Department of Housing and Community Development to protect our neighborhoods and build a more inclusive community.
Not only that, but we also recently secured the largest attainable housing deal in Baltimore County history, which will provide more affordable housing units and protect residents from a sudden rent increase or unjust eviction.
But for all the progress we’ve made together, I know that there is more that we can–and must–do to secure affordable housing for generations to come. With your support, that’s exactly what I’ll do.
With the primary election just around the corner, can I count on you to chip in $10 so we can continue spreading our message to voters across the district and bring the fight to Congress?
