Friend,

Watching the media to ensure they aren’t misrepresenting or outright lying about our campaign is like playing a game of whack-a-mole. The most recent example is the NY Times saying that the Green Party has failed to get on the ballot in New York while we are in the middle of gathering signatures to gain ballot access and the deadline is still three weeks away.

Furthermore, they say the “Green Party” won’t be on the ballot in Idaho, without mentioning that our campaign did gather the necessary signatures to get Jill on the ballot. The requisite signatures were approved by the counties and were submitted to the Idaho Secretary of State before the March 15th deadline.

This is nothing new. Whether it’s through boldface falsehoods or lies of omission, outlets like the New York Times are showing, yet again, that they are nothing but mouthpieces for the political elites. 

What is true is that getting on the ballot in New York is a huge lift and we do need donations to make it happen. But if we get New York, we’ll be well on the way to ballot access in every state.
