John,
We have great news:
San Francisco’s tent count in April has hit a new
five-year low.
Mayor Breed’s sustained efforts
to offer people shelter and housing, and clean up encampments
city-wide is resulting in ongoing progress.
Under Mayor Breed’s direction, 2024
has the lowest tent count rate of any year since the City began
quarterly counts. Since July
last year, there has been a 41% reduction in tents and
structures.
It’s effective leadership — and promises kept.
While others are talking, Mayor Breed is taking action. Now
we’re seeing results in every part of San Francisco. Can
you pitch in today to make sure Mayor Breed serves San Franciscans for
another term?
Mayor Breed knows this is not easy work, but it makes a
difference.
She is using all available
resources, including encampment teams and outreach workers working day
and night, to help bring people into shelter and clean up our
streets.
Today, San Francisco is a
national leader in helping people off the street, thanks to Mayor
Breed.
Her collaborative approach has City
agencies working together to make San Francisco’s neighborhoods
cleaner and healthier for everyone.
There’s more to do and more to accomplish. Mayor London
Breed is the one getting it done.
Thanks
for being so supportive. We need your help to keep Mayor Breed serving
San Francisco. Please consider making a donation today or volunteering
for the campaign. Together, we can continue to make a difference in
our city.
