At the National Urban League, we are reflecting on the roots of our mission that have uplifted and empowered communities for over a century. Your activism and support has helped to grow our future and change lives!

This spring, I invite you to grow our mission even further by including a gift to the National Urban League in your estate plan. Your gift will create jobs, educational opportunities, and support other initiatives to empower future generations of Americans.

We offer simple, cost-free ways to create your plan and designate a legacy gift to the National Urban League.

Here are two common ways to get started:

• Create Your Will: A will allows you to easily document your wishes, designate guardians for children and pets, and build generational wealth to support the people and causes you care about.

• Create Your Revocable Living Trust (RLT): An RLT also allows you to plan for the future and make a legacy with the National Urban League. One of the most important differences comes down to probate — the court-supervised legal process of administering an estate. While a will has to go through probate, a Living Trust allows the owned property to avoid it.

No matter how you choose to create your plan, I hope these resources make it simple and accessible to secure the future of your loved ones and friends, and help grow the mission of the National Urban League for years to come.
