Michigan teachers work hard every day to educate future generations. That’s why Michigan Democrats are working to deliver solutions that support our state’s teachers.

Michigan Democrats worked to create a better retirement plan for teachers, restore the rights and voices of teachers so they could bargain for better working conditions, and fund public schools and education!

It’s no surprise that many Michigan Republicans stood in the way of these solutions, but Michigan Democrats persevered and passed critical legislation to support teachers and schools. That’s why we must protect our majority in the state house this November so Michigan Democrats can continue to lead our state forward.
