Election Day is now less than six months away.  We need everyone showing up in all the ways they can—whether that’s voting, volunteering, contributing, or all of the above—so we can re-elect Lizzie, take back the House, send Colin Allred to the Senate, and re-elect President Biden.  As a member of #TeamLizzie, we’re grateful we can count on you to be part of our efforts between now and November. 

We have a few exciting updates: Giffords—an organization led by former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords that works to prevent gun violence—endorsed Lizzie for re-election!  Lizzie is an unwavering champion for common-sense gun safety measures—like expanding background checks—to make our communities safer.  We’re proud to have Giffords’ support and partnership in our re-election campaign.

We’re also proud to share that Lizzie received 100% scores from the League of Conservation Voters and Reproductive Freedom for All.  Lizzie’s A+ scorecards reflect that she is a strong voice in Congress for protecting our planet and protecting our rights and access to reproductive health care.

Our team continues to work on the ground, meeting with Democratic clubs and organizations, preparing for this summer’s conventions, and organizing for the fall.  We’ll have lots of opportunities to get involved.

Lizzie is also hard at work in her role as the DCCC’s Battleground Finance Vice Chair, working to support candidates in frontline and red-to-blue races, and as a board member of the Equality PAC, working to elect pro-equality champions.  You’ll hear more from her here about how you can help in these critical efforts to take back the House and elect Hakeem Jeffries Speaker of the House in January 2025.

But we don’t have to wait for November for important elections in Texas.  On May 28, Texans will vote in runoff elections from the March primaries to decide which candidates will appear on November ballots.  Early voting will take place from May 20 to 24.
