A lot has happened in the three weeks since we announced Budget 2024, friend.
Here’s a quick recap:
Budget 2024 is making things fairer for every generation by:
- Asking the ultra-wealthy to pay a little more so we can keep investing in the middle class.
- Accelerating our fight against climate change
- Protecting renters from renoviction, unfair rent increases, and bad landlords while making it easier to use your rental history to qualify for a mortgage.
And, while we’re making sure every generation has a fair chance at success, here are three things that Pierre Poilievre and his Conservatives have been up to:
- Committing to vote against our Budget 2024 plan to build homes, protect renters, deliver a National School Food program, and progress for Canadians.
- Hanging out with far-right extremists and receiving endorsements from American conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.
- Getting kicked out of the House of Commons for unparliamentary behaviour and trying to win votes through personal attacks and name-calling.
