Hey John,
I hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy during this difficult time. As we continue to move our operation online, messages like these are more important than ever.
Just as the coronavirus has undoubtedly affected your life, it has affected our campaign, too. We’re using technology to continue our outreach across the state, both via video and phone, and our staff has been working from home.
We’re also finding new and creative ways to stay connected with folks (that means hosting virtual events like the one below!). We’re hearing North Carolinians’ concerns and ensuring this campaign fights for their needs.
Can you add a donation now to help us build the resources we need to run a different kind of campaign? Anything you’re able to give makes a meaningful difference.
Just because we find ourselves in a new reality doesn’t mean things are slowing down. While we are focused on listening to our fellow North Carolinians’ stories, Mitch McConnell is planning to dump a massive amount of cash into our state.
He knows this Senate seat is up for grabs, so he’s spending another $22 million to attack me and prop up our opponent. That makes our own fundraising efforts, from messages just like this, more important than ever.
So, I have to ask:
We won’t be able to fight back against Mitch McConnell’s incoming smear campaign without your support. If you’re financially able, can I count on you to add a donation to my campaign for U.S. Senate to help us respond and flip this Senate seat?
Thank you for everything you’re doing to power our campaign. I know how difficult this time is, so I’m grateful you even opened this email in the first place.
Together, we’ll get through this.
— Cal
