Dear A.,
Last night, voters in Indiana selected pro-Israel State Senator Mark Messmer in his Republican primary against an anti-Israel former member of Congress.
AIPAC members strongly supported Messmer and United Democracy Project — the AIPAC-backed super PAC — spent significant resources to expose John Hostettler’s anti-Israel policies to the district.
Five other AIPAC-endorsed candidates also won their primary election last night in Indiana.
So far in 2024, 117 AIPAC-endorsed candidates have advanced to the general election and we have won in every district where we had an endorsee.
100% of AIPAC-endorsed Democratic candidates have won their primary race in 2024 and 69 AIPAC-endorsed Republican candidates have won their election.

Together, we are continuing to demonstrate that being pro-Israel is both good policy and good politics — but we have a long way to go this cycle.
We must continue to support AIPAC-endorsed Democrats and Republicans who have stood strongly with Israel throughout this war, and we must ensure pro-Israel candidates have the resources they need to defeat anti-Israel challengers.
We’re entering one of the busiest periods of the primary election process, with important races taking place in Maryland and Texas this month. We must keep up our efforts to help pro-Israel candidates advance in these races.
Thank you for your support for AIPAC and the U.S.-Israel relationship. I hope to update you with more good news in the coming weeks.
Sincerely,
Mark Waldman
AIPAC National Political Director
