John -- Four years ago, a small, scrappy group of believers from the Bernie Sanders 2016 campaign came together around a vision of sweeping hundreds of committed, uncorrupted progressives into the House and Senate. Our founders knew: no matter who won the White House in 2016, 2020, or 2024, we need a Brand New Congress to pass Medicare for All, stop the climate crisis and rebuild the American economy with empowered workers at the heart of every decision. We set out to elect regular working people from every walk of life, with the explicit goals of electing more women, more people of color, more LGBTQ folks, and people of different faiths and life experiences. That vision has never been more important than it is today. As our nation struggles under a pandemic, economic and social theories are being rewritten before our very eyes. We need more seats at the table where these decisions will be made. In 2018 we ran 31 candidates and helped get AOC elected. In 2020, we’re supporting more than 40 progressives, and they still need our support to win. Right now our team is working around the clock to help our candidates successfully adapt to digital strategies in an environment that changes every day. We know times are difficult right now, and if you can’t chip in we understand. If you are in a position to give, please know we wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t important. These are huge challenges before us, but they are challenges we can meet if we work together.
