...and Mike Rogers is gushing about Donald Trump.

Last week, at a rally in Michigan, Mike Rogers proudly stood side-by-side with Donald Trump as he berated union workers, lied about the 2020 election, and attacked Elissa by name, calling her “far left lunatic Slotkin.”

In fact, Trump mentioned Rogers in his very first sentence upon taking the stage. He called Rogers a “warrior” for the far-right agenda and repeatedly encouraged the crowd to vote for Mike Rogers.

Trump knows that the road to the White House and control of the Senate runs right through Michigan, and he’ll do whatever it takes to flip it red.

And that’s why he’s standing beside Rogers, who was basking in the praise from Trump — even after years of criticizing Trump publicly. He'll do or say whatever it takes to win an election.

In addition, Rogers has spent decades touting his experience in the FBI, only to get up on stage on Wednesday and trash his former home agency. He accused the FBI of “lurking around school board meetings” and creating “two tiers” of justice. It’s just the latest in a long line of previously-held principles that he’s run away from, because the reality is Mike Rogers is in this for himself — and will sell out to anyone in order to win.

Together, Trump and Rogers will do whatever they need to do — and spend whatever they need to spend — in order to turn Michigan red.
