Starting Your Career in Politics: Virtual Info Session and Jobs Fair

First up on Thursday, May 9 at 6 p.m. ET, we’re hosting Starting Your Career in Politics, a virtual panel and jobs fair where we'll teach you what organizers do on campaigns. At this virtual event, the first hour will be an info session detailing everyday organizing responsibilities on campaigns. The second hour will be a job fair with some of the biggest employers in the space, including Biden for President, The DCCC, DLCC, and the Democratic coordinated campaigns in nearly all the presidential and senate battleground states. Prioritizing Mental Health on Campaigns

On May 23rd, Arena and Here* are partnering for mental health training for campaign staffers. Here* is a mental health early-intervention training for political staffers to learn how to assist and support individuals and colleagues who may be experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge. This training will equip political organizers and volunteers with essential mental health skills and knowledge, making them better equipped to support themselves and others and represent and advocate for mental health-related issues.
