In communities across the country, there’s been an alarming increase in antisemitism and hate.
In 2023, ADL tracked a total of 8,873 antisemitic incidents in the U.S. That’s an average of one antisemitic act every hour of the year.
Insults screamed at Jewish students on campus as they walk on campus or go to commencement ceremonies. Anti-Zionist anger seething in protest ‘encampments’ where some activists praise Hamas. Bomb threats disrupting services in synagogues. Assaults on visibly Jewish people in the streets and other antisemitic acts 24 hours a day, seven days a week for all 365 days of the year — which is why I’m writing you with such urgency.
