My name is Diane, and I’ve been a teacher here in Wisconsin for 6 years. And I’ve seen just how much damage the WisGOP has done to our schools.

Over the past few years, they’ve used our schools and educators as props in a fake culture war – targeting LGBTQ+ students, banning books, and making teachers choose between giving our students the education they deserve and staying out of the political crossfire.

As a teacher, I am frustrated because my colleagues and I are out there making sure that kids that attend public schools are clothed, fed and succeeding in their classes. We are out here working hard every day for the kids of Wisconsin.

But while the GOP targets teachers and students, WisDems is out there standing with teachers – fighting to keep politics out of the classroom, uplifting teachers and students, and ensuring that our schools remain a safe place to foster our highest values in the next generation.

And today, in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, I’m asking you to join me in supporting the WisDems and fighting for the future of education in our state. Will you make a $24 grassroots donation to elect leaders who value education, freedom, and democracy?
