And the pressure is working. President Biden just announced he is withholding a bomb shipment to Israel due to the threats against Rafah. But this is only temporary, unless we keep showing that we demand an end to U.S. support for Netanyahu’s atrocities AND that we demand Biden use his power to broker a permanent Ceasefire.

Over a million Palestinians had already fled Israel’s bombs and taken refuge in Rafah. Where does Israel want them to evacuate to?
If Israel invades the densely populated Gazan city, it will create a humanitarian catastrophe beyond the horrific scale of the current situation: tens of thousands of Palestinians killed, many by American-made weapons, and at least a million people in Gaza facing starvation because Israel’s military is blocking food from getting to civilians — a breach of international law.
The only way to stop this is if President Biden uses his power, holds back weapons shipments from Netanyahu, and uses his influence to end the atrocities with a permanent Ceasefire.
