Ted Cruz won re-election in 2018 by a margin of just 2.6% – Texas’ closest U.S. Senate race in 40 years.

Rick Scott won his 2018 election by a TINY margin of 0.12%. Not only was it the closest U.S. Senate race of the cycle, it was Florida’s closest U.S. Senate race EVER.
