John, we need to be brutally honest here. Our grassroots fundraising has really slowed down since last week, and it’s coming at a difficult moment in our fight to defeat Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans. 

The truth is, we get it. Our nation is facing an unprecedented pandemic that has surely impacted you and your family, just as it has impacted our grassroots organization and the candidates we support. 

Our candidates have canceled in-person fundraisers. Our organizing team is revamping our entire strategy. And on top of all that, McConnell’s super PAC just booked $67 million worth of nasty attack ads against our Democratic candidates. 

The bottom line is that this outbreak has made online donations from grassroots Democrats like you more important than ever. We cannot fight back and win the Senate unless a lot of people step up in the coming weeks and months.
