Dear Neighbor,

As chair and founder of the Congressional Renters Caucus, I'm advocating to lower rent costs, build more housing that working families can afford and remove discriminatory barriers that are preventing millions of Americans from getting into safe, affordable, high quality housing. 

I led the Renters Caucus to demand Congress increases federal rental assistance and housing programs to combat the housing crisis. In one of the richest countries in the world, every single person should have access to a safe and affordable place to live. Unfortunately, federal housing assistance is falling far short of what's needed, and we're advocating for change.
