I'm thrilled to share that we're teaming up with our friends at Supermajority for an event shining a spotlight on caregivers, care recipients, and care workers.
WHAT: Superwomen Wednesday
WHEN: TOMORROW, Wednesday, May 8 at 7pmET / 4pmPT
WHO: Jenn Stowe (NDWA) & Taylor Salditch (Supermajority)
WHERE: Virtual event
Supermajority is a women's equality organization made up of women of all backgrounds, races, and ages who are coming together to build a voting bloc committed to creating a future where we are all truly equal.
Together, Supermajority's Executive Director, Taylor, and I will talk about everything from a National Domestic Workers Bill of Rights to transforming the structure of care in this country, to accessible child care, to a paid national leave program.
If you're curious about the work Supermajority does, or have specific questions about access to care in this country, simply send a question to [email protected] so we can answer them on Wednesday!
Hope to see you there,
Thank you for being a dedicated supporter of the National Domestic Workers Alliance!
We're working day and night to win respect, recognition, and labor rights and protections for the more than 2.5 million nannies, house cleaners, and homecare workers.
The majority of domestic workers sit at the center of some of our nation’s most decisive issues because of who they are and what they do: they are women – mostly women of color, immigrants, mothers, and low-wage workers. They are impacted by almost every policy affecting the future of our economy, democracy and country.
Domestic workers can lead us toward a new, inclusive vision for the future for all of us -- and your grassroots support is the fuel that can get us there.
