Match My Gift

Children's Mental Health Awareness Week – a time to renew our commitment to supporting the mental and emotional well-being of children. That’s why we want to take this moment to introduce you to 15-year-old Isaiah, whose heartfelt wish gave him life-changing confidence and relief from the anxiety caused by his critical illness.
Ever since he was 2 years old, Isaiah has been growing up with a nervous system disorder. His condition has weakened the muscles on the right side of his body, and he experiences seizures that can be uncontrollable.
Heartbreakingly, Isaiah has been bullied in the past for being different from his peers, which caused him to be self-conscious and introverted. His biggest fear is having a seizure on the basketball court in front of his classmates, so he doesn’t like to play his favorite sport at school.

For kids like Isaiah, a wish has the power to give them renewed confidence in themselves and hope for a brighter future – significantly improving their emotional well-being. But we can’t grant these wishes without the help of supporters like you. That’s why this is such big news:
This Children’s Mental Health Awareness Month, the Kendra Scott Foundation is matching every donation up to $150,000 to provide more kids with the life-changing impact of a wish.

So please, will you make a MATCHED gift now that will go TWICE as far for kids facing the darkness and uncertainty of a critical illness?

When Isaiah learned that his wish would be granted, he knew that the thing he wanted most was a judgment-free place to play basketball – so he wished for his very own backyard court. Now, he can confidently play daily without the fear that used to accompany his passion. He's even building up the courage to try out for his high school team.

Nine out of 10 wish parents like Kim say that they saw their child’s emotional well-being improve after their wish. But without the support of people like you, these transformational wish experiences would not be possible for so many wish kids like Isaiah.

Please, in honor of Children’s Mental Health Awareness Month, will you donate to have every dollar DOUBLED toward providing kids with the strength and hope of a wish when they need it most?
