Florida’s 6-week abortion ban went into effect less than a week ago, and abortion providers in Virginia are already seeing an influx in patients.

I won’t sugarcoat it. Virginia is the only state in the Southeast without a post-Roe ban on abortion.

Every other Southeast state has either banned or rolled back access to reproductive health care. Make no mistake: The only reason the Commonwealth is a safe haven for abortion is because Virginians put Democrats in control of the General Assembly. We have no other choice but to do the same thing in the Senate this year.
