Grants available to HCBS providers that support rural and underserved communities [ [link removed] ]

* *Audience:* HCBS providers and other interested parties
* *Deadline:* 4 p.m. on June 28, 2024
* *Summary:* DHS is accepting proposals for provider capacity grants to support organizations that provide HCBS services. These grants will expand their ability to serve older adults and people with disabilities in rural and underserved communities.

Policy change to remove the MHM Y indicator eligibility requirement in the LTC screening document [ [link removed] ]

* *Audience:* MHM transition coordinators and lead agency staff who work with MHM
* *Effective date:* June 1, 2024
* *Summary:* Effective June 1, 2024, DHS will no longer require the MHM indicator to equal yes (Y) in the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) for a person to be eligible to enroll in MHM.
