Since I launched my campaign in January, I’ve been running my campaign on the idea that Congress is broken. Honestly, I’m deeply cynical about our government based on how dysfunctional our Congress is.

But even I can’t believe what’s going on in Congress today. The House is dealing with a coup because two representatives didn’t get their way on one vote.

This is happening because Max Miller and the GOP can’t stand up to the crazy wing of their party. Instead of fighting against the extremists and working with Democrats to establish, they’ve chosen to let the radicals run wild.

I’m running for Congress to end the dysfunction in Congress and to make Congress work again. Restoring sane governance isn’t a radical idea, but it needs to be a top priority during today’s crazy times.
