This year's election will be one of the most important ones yet. We have so much work to do in order to get our nation back on a path to progress.

We need to take back the White House -- but we also need to flip the Senate. That means electing Mark Kelly in Arizona. Will you help Democrats win the Senate by splitting a donation between Mark's campaign and myself right away?

Mark is a retired U.S. Navy combat pilot, engineer and NASA astronaut who's focused on overcoming partisanship to address big problems in a way that helps working people and protects America during tough times. He'll fight to save access to affordable health care and education, secure a living wage and defend Social Security and Medicare.

Mark is also one of the nation's leading advocates for gun violence prevention; he co-founded the organization GIFFORDS with his wife former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords to unite Americans from all backgrounds to reduce gun violence and make our communities safe. I have been working on these issues in the Senate and could really use an ally like Mark. He'll help us overcome the stalling from Republican leaders when it comes to critical gun safety reforms.
