In a new video from the Edward M. Kennedy Institute, watch a fascinating discussion on “Disruption?: The Senate During the Trump Era,” a new book released today from University of Texas at Austin Prof. Sean M. Theriault and leading Senate observers from across the political spectrum.

The authors argue President Trump became both trapped in the norms and rules of the Senate while simultaneously upending multiple facets of the world’s greatest deliberative body.

Prof. Theriault was joined in conversation with chapter authors Frances Lee, Prof. of Politics and Public Affairs at Princeton University, and Christina Bellantoni, Director of The Annenberg Media Center at University of Southern California.
