On Saturday, April 27th, campus

during a peaceful pro-Palestinian demonstration on the campus of
Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Jill

Jason Call: No National Guard on college
campuses
American students across the
country are standing up and demanding an end to Israel’s genocide in
Gaza. In response, corrupt university administrators are swarming the
students with police in riot gear, staging snipers on the roofs
overlooking the demonstrators, and violently assaulting students and
their allies.

North Carolina Green Party Stands
in Solidarity with Student Protestors
The North Carolina Green Party
condemns in the strongest possible terms the violent repression of
university protests across the nation, and especially at UNC-Chapel
Hill. Students protesting at universities are exercising their right
to public dissent from the foreign and domestic policies that oppress
people both within and outside of the United States.

Green Party of New York Solidarity Statement Supporting
Students Against Genocide
The Green Party of New York (GPNY)
expresses its full support for and solidarity with the student-led
occupations at Columbia University, City College of NY, the New
School, New York University, and around the nation. GPNY also backs
the demands of Columbia University Apartheid Divest (CUAD), the

that Columbia and other universities divest from companies and
academic institutions that profit from or engage in the State of
Israel’s acts of occupation, apartheid, and genocide.

Arizona Green Party accuses
candidates of hijacking party's U.S. Senate primary
The only two Green Party candidates that could appear on
primary ballots in the race for Arizona’s open U.S. Senate seat have
no connections to the Arizona Green Party, a party official said.
Scottsdale resident Mike Norton and Yuma resident Arturo
Hernandez both gathered more than the 1,288 signatures required to
qualify for the Green Party’s U.S. Senate primary in July. Both
candidates entered the race in March, just weeks before the deadline
to turn in those signatures.

Voting has gotten easier in New York, but getting on the
ballot hasn't
Democrats have made some of the most sweeping reforms to
New York’s election law in over a century since they assumed sole
control of Albany in 2019. Changes like early voting, eased
registration deadlines, and new rules for voting by mail have made it
easier than ever to cast a vote. But upstarts of every party say
one thing hasn't gotten any easier: actually getting on the ballot to
run for office.

Marnie Glickman: One day is not enough
Every year, Earth Day is a reminder to me that one day is not
enough. We need to take time EVERY day to do our part for the planet.
Portland is at a crossroads. Do we want to act boldly to meet the
demand of the moment, protect our citizens, and expand sustainable
economic opportunities, or will we settle for business as usual?

Green Party of New Jersey Candidate for US Senate Says:
Climate Change is Real!
“Now that I have your attention,” said Christina Khalil, Green
Party candidate for U.S. Senate in New Jersey, “let me tell you why we
should all be worried about the climate crisis and why the climate
crisis is real.” The day after a 4.8 earthquake and its multiple
aftershocks hit New Jersey, many extreme right-wing skeptics took
issue with Christina’s Khalil’s statement that “The climate crisis is
real.” Christina also wondered out loud why there appeared to be more
earthquakes in New Jersey than in the past.

Eduardo Quintana for Senate
My name is Eduardo Heredia-Quintana and I'm running for Senate with
the Arizona Green Party to offer a true political choice outside our
failed two-party system. I believe in a pro-worker, anti-war, climate
action agenda and will put this front and center in November.
