ConSup North America Inc. Issues Recall

April 30, 2024 - ConSup North America Inc., a Lincoln Park, N.J. firm, is recalling approximately 85,984 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) sliced prosciutto ham product produced in Germany without the benefit of equivalent inspection.

The RTE sliced prosciutto ham item was produced on various dates from Sept. 25, 2023 through March 6, 2024.

These items were shipped to retail locations nationwide.

Cargill Meat Solutions Issues Recall

May 1, 2024 - Cargill Meat Solutions, a Hazleton, Pa., establishment, is recalling approximately 16,243 pounds of raw ground beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7.

The raw ground beef items were produced on April 26-27, 2024.

The products subject to recall all bear the USDA mark of inspection on the front of the product label, and establishment number "EST. 86P" printed on the back of the product label. These items were shipped to Walmart retail locations nationwide.

May 3, 2024 - Chuao Chocolatier, of Carlsbad, CA, is voluntarily recalling a single production of Potato Chip mini bar .39oz/11 gram LOT 4022 because some packages may contain undeclared hazelnut. People who are sensitive or have allergies to hazelnut could be at risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

This recall is limited to one lot code (4022) of the Chuao Chocolatier Potato Chip mini chocolate bar (.39 oz. bar), which was sold nationwide (excluding HI and AK) in retail stores and online in the United States. No other Chuao Chocolatier products are affected by this recall.

May 6, 2024 - Hy-Vee, Inc., based in West Des Moines, Iowa, is voluntarily recalling two varieties of its Hy-Vee Cream Cheese Spread out of an abundance of caution due to the potential for contamination with Salmonella. Additionally, Hy-Vee is voluntarily recalling its bulk-packaged Cookies & Cream Mix out of an abundance of caution due to the potential for contamination with Salmonella.

The affected products were distributed to Hy-Vee, Hy-Vee Drugstore and Dollar Fresh Market locations – as well as Hy-Vee Fast and Fresh convenience stores – across the company’s eight-state region of Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
