Over the past week, Survival’s supporters have rallied together to raise crucial funds in support of uncontacted peoples like the Hongana Manyawa. It isn’t too late to join the fight.

The Hongana Manyawa are resisting the relentless exploitation and destruction of their rainforest home by mining giants like Weda Bay Nickel.

“I will never give Weda Bay Nickel consent to use our lands” – contacted Hongana Manyawa man, 2023.

But the bulldozers are closing in, and the Hongana Manyawa’s forest is shrinking every day. Without proper protection of their territory, they will die.

Survival is the only organization fighting worldwide to stop the extermination of uncontacted tribes like the Hongana Manyawa. To maintain our independence and integrity, we do not accept government funding – so our work relies on the generosity of people like you.
