Are you up for a ROARSOME challenge on World Lion Day (10th August)? Our Walk on the Wild Side is back – a brilliant way for you to keep fit AND raise funds for Born Free.
It’s free to take part and we’re encouraging everyone who loves lions to sign up to walk (or run!) 23,000 steps for lions. That’s one step for each of the estimated 23,000 lions left in the wild.

Join hundreds of people across the UK and around the world, not least our team of more than 400 community members and school children in Kenya – our spiritual homeland. Ask your family and friends to sponsor you and to join in!
Together, let’s raise vital funds to protect lions in the wild, care for rescued lions in need AND fight to end their captive exploitation.
Whether you’re a fitness fanatic, couch to 5k-er, or just want to get outdoors this summer, our challenge is the ideal way to step up for lions. So, lace up your trainers and take our 23,000-step challenge this summer!
