Alzheimer's hits close to home. More than half of all Americans know someone living with Alzheimer's — and that number will likely grow. Based on projections, by 2050 nearly 13 million Americans will be living with Alzheimer's or another dementia.
Despite this troubling situation, we've entered an exciting new era of Alzheimer's treatment, and the Food and Drug Administration has approved treatments that can meaningfully change the course of the disease for people living with early Alzheimer's.
