Donald Trump has made it clear: if elected, he intends to dangerously walk back climate and environmental action even more than he did in his first term. He’s pledged to:

Dismantle the Environmental Protection Agency
Destroy the Inflation Reduction Act
Withdraw the United States from the Paris agreement
Push for more drilling for oil and gas

To have a chance at a stable climate, we must defeat Donald Trump.

During the Iowa Caucus and New Hampshire primary Sunrisers grilled Republican Presidential candidates like Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, and Donald Trump for their Big Oil ties and commitment to planet destruction.

We plan to continue that work.

Over the next couple of months Sunrisers will hound MAGA Republicans and Big Oil shills for selling out our futures but we can’t do that work without you.

We’re putting together plans for a massive youth voter mobilization program for the fall. We’ll be canvassing and calling young voters in swing states like Michigan, Arizona, Pennsylvania that will determine control of Congress and our federal government. We will be having tough, but absolutely essential conversations with young people about the costs of a Republican government and the opportunities we have to keep winning if we defeat them.

I want us to run a bold, ambitious program that meets the scale of the threat posed by facism this November, but a program like this takes resources. How big we can go depends on how much electoral funding we can raise in the coming months.
