Dear Friends,
Today is Yom HaShoah, or Holocaust Remembrance Day—a day we honor and remember the six million Jewish lives lost during the Holocaust and others who perished at the hands of the Nazis. This year feels particularly difficult as the past few weeks we have seen many challenges impacting the Jewish community. Since October 7th, ADL has tracked a surge in antisemitic incidents across the country especially on our U.S. college campuses. As the semester comes to an end, they are facing serious disruptions and a troubling increase in antisemitic rhetoric and incidents. Across our region, we have been closely monitoring campuses to ensure that Jewish students feel safe and heard. We have also
witnessed glimmers of hope and light. Despite the increase of antisemitism, Jewish students and allies are showing their Jewish pride, coming together in unity and saying no to hatred and violence. Below, please see some highlights from across the region and the country to learn more about how you can get involved in the pathway for no tolerance for antisemitism and hatred of any kind.
Thank you for your support,
Meredith R. Weisel
