We always knew this would be a tough race. But the NRCC just made it official: OR-06 is a “top target” in the November election, meaning they will spend as much as it takes to defeat Andrea Salinas and flip this district red.

Are we panicking? No. And you shouldn’t either. But we also can’t be complacent. Being a top NRCC target means this district will be inundated with attack ads attempting to mislead voters about Andrea’s record, and we absolutely must be prepared to fight back against that.

Can we count on you to pitch in $5 today to help Andrea respond to those attacks? The NRCC is a formidable opponent, but we’re betting our grassroots team is stronger.

If we agree with the NRCC on anything, it’s this: OR-06 is one of the districts that decides which party controls a House majority next year.

That means this race could determine whether women face a national abortion ban — or whether we have the votes to protect the right to choose in all 50 states.

It could determine whether we have a majority of representatives in Congress who have the courage to stand up to MAGA lies about our elections.

It could determine whether Congress takes real action to reduce the cost of living for hardworking families — or whether Republicans and their special-interest backers pass another giant tax break for corporations and billionaires.

This race came down to an extremely tight margin last time around, and we’re preparing for the same this November. So anything you can pitch in will help us build the kind of campaign infrastructure needed to go toe-to-toe with the NRCC, and pull out a narrow victory in one of the nation’s most competitive elections.
