On Friday, May 3rd, Judy received the Presidential Medal of Freedom. 🌈❤️ 

The Presidential Medal of Freedom is the Nation’s highest civilian honor, presented to individuals who have made exemplary contributions to the prosperity, values, or security of the United States, world peace, or other significant societal, public or private endeavors.

Give OUT Day is May 30th! 

Celebrate the only national day of giving for the LGBTQ+ community – Give OUT Day on Thursday, May 30!

The PFLAG National Board of Directors will match all online donations between now and Give OUT Day, up to a total of $30,000.

May 12th is Mother's Day! 

Happy Mother's Day to all the amazing moms and mothering people this Sunday!

It was the love of a mother that drove the creation of PFLAG, and your love and support continue to make an impact in the LGBTQ+ community. Today we celebrate LGBTQ+ moms, ally moms, chosen moms, gender nonconforming moms, and all mothering people for everything you do. ❤️

Reminder: PFLAG Connects: Communities May Meetings

PFLAG Connects: Communities (PCC) provide a safe, virtual, moderated space where people with shared experiences can connect each month. PFLAG National’s current communities gather people of Latino, Black/African American, and Asian American and Pacific Islander backgrounds to gain support, ask questions, and learn from others who have been through similar experiences. 

We also host a Military Community meeting, in partnership with our friends at the Modern Military Association of America (MMAA).

New in May: PFLAG Connects: Gender Spectrum Parent Community. The first meeting will meet for 90 minutes on the third Monday of each month, at 8pm ET/5pm PT, beginning Monday, May 20th.
