Hi,

How can you help solve the climate crisis if you don’t know what the climate crisis is? The answer is: you can’t. That’s why educators are so important, and why EARTHDAY‍.ORG invests time and energy into building climate literacy around the world.

This week — May 6 through May 10 — is Teacher Appreciation Week, and we are taking this time to recognize the vital role that education plays in the environmental movement. EARTHDAY‍.ORG is grateful for the educators who take on the responsibility to educate and empower their students on climate issues, and we want to be a resource for them and their students.

An education revolution is necessary for increasing awareness of environmental issues and empowering the public to take action. EARTHDAY‍.ORG’s educational resources support educators on their journey to make an impact and prompt its recipients to be difference-makers.

During Teacher Appreciation Week — and year-round — take time to celebrate the educators in your life and reflect on how they’ve made a difference in your community. You can send them EARTHDAY‍.ORG’s educational resources, as well as utilize them yourself.

See below for more details.
