John,
Have you seen the videos going viral on social media about a National
Women's Strike?
Much like the first Women's March in 2017, this is a totally grassroots
campaign, spontaneously organized by women who are fed up and want to
fight back. Women's March leadership did not call for this strike.
And yet, over the past week and a half, we've received over 60 new
event submissions to the Women's March map from local organizers --
many of whom are hosting a protest for the very first time.

So, what do we do in this situation when a wildfire campaign
unexpectedly pops up? Do we ignore it? Do we say, "Sorry, we didn't
account for this in our work plan" and ask the organizers to fall in
line with one of our officially planned activities?
Hell no. We support the women-led organizing that is taking place
organically by offering our map and digital infrastructure, free of
charge, and providing coaching and mentoring to the organizers. We
moderate the submissions to ensure they aren't coming from bad actors,
and then we provide tips and support around the content, and a place
for newer activists to connect to more seasoned hosts.

v Wade was overturned.
The Women's March online action platform is open to any individual
feminist who wants to start a petition or host an event and have it
listed on the map. We are here to support women-led organizing and
feminist causes, however that organizing arises.
