May 5 ? 11 is Drinking Water Week!
During Drinking Water Week, our Office works with other agencies and EGLE divisions to promote materials encouraging the public to learn more about their drinking water. This year also marks the 50th anniversary of the Safe Drinking Water Act!
Visit Michigan.gov/DrinkingWaterWeek for information and resources about where your water comes from, your water quality, and who to contact with questions. There is also information on testing your water and activities and resources for kids and educators.
How Can You Help?
- Use the information to make sure you know about your own water.
- EGLE will be using social media to promote materials, and we encourage you to share these posts (or use the social media content at Michigan.gov/DrinkingWaterWeek to develop your own) and help us spread this important information.
- Share some of the activities with the young Michiganders in your life.
- Let us know what you found useful or what information was missing or could be improved upon for next year by emailing us at?[email protected].
