Billionaire hedge fund manager Ken Griffin, who REFUSES to back President Trump, pledged $2.5 million to back my opponent in this race.
You read that right. Instead of spending his millions to defeat Joe Biden and Democrats in Congress, anti-Trump billionaire Ken Griffin is attacking me and backing John McGuire.
Why? Because he is friends with former Speaker Kevin McCarthy and has agreed to finance the McCarthy Revenge Tour.
For months, I have told you that billionaires and special interests were aligning to spend $5 million on negative attack ads to defeat me. This week I received word that they have already spent $4.1 million for TV ads, and they aren't done yet.
Meanwhile, my opponent was in Washington on Wednesday for a fundraiser with defense contractors who are getting rich from the ongoing war in Ukraine. The RINO Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, Mike Rogers, hosted the event for him. This is the same Mike Rogers who physically attacked Rep. Matt Gaetz on the House floor for refusing to vote for former Speaker Kevin McCarthy.
Make no mistake about it. John McGuire is the Swamp's choice.
His finance reports are a who's who of lobbyists and mega donors from Washington and all over the country -- NOT Virginia. The Super PACs are friends of Kevin McCarthy who want revenge for taking away their access to power.
