Tell Congress: Let Americans vote by mail

Friends —
Mark Warner is proud to sponsor the Natural Disaster and Emergency Ballot Act. This important bill would allow voters nationwide to cast their ballot by mail and would expand in-person early voting to prevent large gatherings.
Thanks to our leadership in the General Assembly, Virginians already have access to vote-by-mail and a 45-day window for in-person early voting, and Mark is stepping up to make sure we expand voting access for every American.
As our country continues to face the coronavirus outbreak, it’s critical that Congress act quickly to pass this bill to expand voting access. People across the country are taking physical distancing seriously, and it’s important that they have the resources they need to continue following public health directives. That includes being able to safely exercise their right to vote.
Will you add your name in support of expanded vote by mail and early voting options?
While these changes are needed immediately to stop the spread of COVID-19, they would remain permanent and ensure that all Americans are able to vote during any natural disaster or emergency.
Virginia has already made voting easier and safer with "no-excuse” voting by mail, but millions of Americans still don’t have access to voting-by-mail. Many elected leaders — including President Trump — continue to resist this urgently needed change to the voting process.
Will you sign on as a citizen co-sponsor of this new bill that expands vote by mail and early voting nationwide?
