John,
There is so much at stake this November.
Across the country, elections at every level—including for President of the United States—will determine whether to invest in education, housing, health care, make the expanded Child Tax Credit permanent, and whether the right to vote will be protected. These choices could not be more important—and we all need to work together to make sure that voters, especially those with low incomes and people of color, are able to get to the polls and make their voices heard.
We can’t afford to have a low-turnout presidential election. That’s why we’re starting early, reaching out to infrequent voters in critical states, educating folks about what’s at stake and encouraging them to make their voices heard.
We have a big task ahead of us and we need your help to gear up for the big fight ahead!
We’re asking you, our strongest supporters, to join our “Vote for Human Needs” campaign by calling and writing to voters in swing states and volunteering in Voter ID clinics. Much of this work can be done from your home. Right now we’re focusing on the crucial states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin—swing states where high proportions of people have either not registered to vote or are infrequent voters. For our democracy to work, every voice needs to be heard—including people with low incomes and communities of color.
Today marks just 6 months from Election Day! Click here and let us know which volunteer activities you’re interested in. Then I’ll reach back out and get you plugged into an appropriate volunteer activity.

We’re stronger when we work together, and together we have the chance to make major changes that will materially impact people’s lives. Join us.
Thank you for all you do,
